Hi everyone,
Here are the major issues being addressed at the time:
Tanking
This seems to be the major issue at the time and the most dificult to control. As you've all seen there are times where the LM's are a bit more busy due to work and can't control everything. Given that, we'll need the help of the 3 of you to perform the function of League Officers, one for every ESPN league that has the following duties:
- Check for missed lineups
- Check for IR players that need to be activated
- Check for IL players that need to be activated
- Check for "tanking" moves
These League Officers will report to us any missed duties on part of the owner, regarding aspects that affect the competitiveness of the League.
With that, we can keep a "short leash" on owners undermining the spirit of true competition.
So, if you are available, just let us know.
ESPN Roster Updates
As in real life, trades take time... Signing players takes time... Roster updates will be processed every Monday and every Thursday, before the start of games. This way everybody knows where it stands regarding their moves and their lineups. The Excel Spreadsheet will also be updated on those days.
Mistakes
Jose Juan Barea was missing from SAC's roster. We don't know how or why, but he has been missing since the beginning of the season. He will be restored to SAC's roster today. He's already on the spreadsheet.
DET 2nd 2014 was traded twice by DET and it slipped by us. We are still deciding on how to deal with this.
Also in Detroit, Ant offered a 2+1 deal to Jeremy Tyler but he had already used his anual TO (on Alonzo Gee), so Tyler was signed to a 3 year deal, without TO.
