Hi everyone,
Also, with every end of another season we open a suggestion box for rule changes you think might enhance what we like to call "The Dynasty Experience".
As you know, we try to follow the NBA rulebook as closely as possible, to give the best real life GM taste of the game, but always keeping in mind the unavoidable Fantasy implications and what makes sense and what doesn't.
Thinks we already know we'll look into during the offseason, not meaning we'll change anything just look into it:
- RFA structure (just some fine tuning)
- 14D contracts (another fine tuning)
- Buyouts
- penalty structure for disregard of owner duties
- the metaphysical discussion of what is or isn't "tanking"
So, the "floor" is open for everybody to speak up their minds and share any thing you think might be added to the league.
We'll even leave a first one here, from Joe, just to break the ice:

Also, another thing I was talking about the RFA. My suggestion would be after the opening bidding, the highest bidder and the original owner can have 1 day to neogiate. If the original owner decide to match, then that's fine. Nothing will change. But maybe the original owner doesn't want to match, I think with this process, the original owner will be able to get something in return. For example, like last year, with Ty Lawson. I bid 15+ M and then Ze comes and talk with me, if he gives up the right to match, then he will get something from me, either player, cash or picks. Another reason why I make this suggestion is from last year, not many original owner can take advantage of being the original owner of RFA, in which the only reason they get the RFA back is because they overpay, this is definitely not healthy for RFA. With my suggestion, instead people won't go crazy and gives owner a chance to either get something back or match with much lower contract. Because if you look, RFA contract are very bad compare to UFA contracts. We have to find a way to close the gap, and I think my suggestion can do just that.
Not sure if it's clear enough, but the idea is there, let me know if something not clear for you, then I will try to find another way to present this idea.
