November 17, 2012[/u]
Toronto Raptors Trade:[/u]
SG Landry Fields (TOR) (12/13:$6.25M,13/14:$6.25M,14/15:$6.25M,'15/16:UFA) PF/SF Linas Kleiza (TOR) (12/13:$4.6M,13/14:$4.6M-PO) 2013 2nd Round Pick (TOR)
For
Houston Rockets Trade:[/u]
PG Jeremy Lin (HOU) (12/13:$5.0M,13/14:$5.23M,14/15:$14.9M,15/16:UFA) SG Evan Fornier (DEN) (12/13:$1.0M,13/14:$1.1M,14/15:$1.27M-TO,15/16:$1.45M-TO,16/17:$1.82M-QO)
* The Toronto Raptors accept and confirm this deal. We are bringing Linsanity across the border! While we used to be far from believers in Lin, we have moved on the opinion and are glad to acquire him. Fornier we like as a euro, could be a good player. Give up lots of current production and a future pick but we feel this, like our last deal, is taking us in the right direction.
** The Houston Rockets to follow and confirm. After not striking any deals for so long, nice to get two in one night. Good luck to all involved.

Confirm, looking to diversify and Lin's "poison pill" contract hasn't been performed too with Hardin in town.

I've seen these two in other leagues and Josh consistently rapes Loren in trades. This one is no different imo. The "current production" Josh says he is giving up evens out with the current production that the Rockets are giving up. And while I might approve this if the contracts the Raps were giving weren't worth more over the life of Lin's contract, this is just a terrible move for the Rockets organization. You gain more cap than the "poison pill" you were taking before. I'm ok with Fournier for the 2nd, the rest, not so much..
Again, I've seen these two trade in at least 3 other leagues and the results are never pretty.
Veto (0-1)

I guess Lin's 10.9ppg/6.7apg/4.7rpg/34mpg vs Kleiza's 10.0ppg/0.8apg/3.5rpg/24mpg is a HUGE difference. Even though one has a ridiculous contract. And I guess Landry vs Fornier doesn't have any effect on the difference already mentioned. Oh and the draft pick doesn't matter either. Maybe we should evaluate on the numbers, rather than the names

I evaluated the numbers josh, he gains more cap now and future and fields is a negative for his production.
Get real
