I respect the opinions of the trade committee but I would like to just put up some food for thought before the rework.
It was to my understanding that the TCs job is the look at fairness and equity as well. My previous owner sent 3 firsts for CP3. That could still be seen as an undersell. Now with this deal, I think people are only focusing on the names. AD could be traded for 2 lottery 1sts. Just look at the Beal trade with Denver (I stepped up the research after the 0-3 veto). Lin could be worth a first. In fact he is with that 14m kicker in the 3rd year. And prince's contract is bad.
Still, I see the reason for veto. However, I would hope the league uses some transparency in a very objective process that is voting. Why hold me to a different standard than the previous trade when I dont like CP3? Thank you.
Regards
PS: look at my team. I'm 9-3 and it's because of Paul. His teams better than mine without him.

I can only speak for my vote, and I didn't vote the other CP3 trade.
In every trade, any gm can have 2 ideas. Improving his team for the current season or improving his team for the future by talent or contracts (or both).
In this deal, SAC team gets worse this season. And this is the most important aspect of this trade.
He is trading a lot of assets for the future, without receiving anything in return for now (since he deteriorates his team for this season) or for the future (since he only gets an expiring contract).
This can only make any sense IF he was improving his chances for this season, in a win now against later perspective.
But since it's not the case...
And i really love CP3 game, but if you run the numbers, he clearly loses stats in almost every cat.
About the "different standard than the previous trad", it doesn't exist. the trade is very different, with different teams and with different reasonings.
In the other one, MIL received picks for the future and ATL IMPROVED HIS TEAM FOR THIS SEASON in an attempt to contend.
This is a big difference, and frankly, is on his own a reason for veto or not a trade.
About the vetos, we have vetoed 12 trades in about 180 so this seems like a reasoning number if you look at things that way.
PS: I moved this thread for the Trade Discussion forum, as that forum is exactly for this discussions, i hope you don't mind Ethan

For myself I've already stated my opinion on the matter and that being said I respect the TC decision no matter what it was as long as I know what the reasoning is and everyone who voted left great feedback and I understand where they are coming from. Like I said this is the best league I've been in and I respect the decisions but will still always state my reasonings. Thank you TC and Lms for the work you do.
