The Rule Book details the play for the 2012 draft but, leaves the future rookie draft rules pretty Vague. Here are the few questions I found:
1. how is the lottery order determined? - the obvious answer is "reverse order of winning percentage" but particularly, how are ties in winning percentage broken?
2. how will the draft order be determined? - (not the same question as above) once the lottery order is set, how will we be determining the draft order?
In the "Hoops Dynasty league" we used to pair each dynasty league team, with the real NBA team that ranks in the same spot. Then when the NBA does the lottery, our lottery is based directly on the results of the NBA lottery. super simple.
if this was addressed already, i appologize re hashing it. just want it to be squared away. thank you!

We will pair every team with it's NBA correspondent and use the results of the real NBA lottery.

I'm curious about this as well. When will the final standings from last season be posted so that we can see who our picks matchup with for the RL lottery. Exciting times!

Guys, sorry about the lack of reply but as you might have noted (probably not, since you don't follow soccer) the club both commishes support, Sport Lisboa e Benfica, will play in the Europa League Final in Amsterdam next Wednesday, so the last couple of days have been pretty busy trying to find tickets for the game (done!) and now booking a trip there (still to be done).
Expect news during the weekend.

We're back from Amsterdam from the Europa League Final and try to get everything ready by real NBA lottery time.

this thing is happening in 8 hours, i understand you both were out of town. that is no problem, but what is the hold up here? this should literally be a 5 minute process. step 1: determine the tie breakers for the teams final standings. step 2: match our lottery order, with the NBAs lottery order. step 3: post it here. I would have done it myself weeks ago but nowhere in the rules is there an explaination for how we will be breaking ties in teams final winning percentage.

Here's the pre-established probability order and correspondance with real NBA teams.
In red, tie-breakers to be resolved.
