Not trying to cause a problem just have an honest question... Is this drop possible? My understanding is that you can only go over the cap in trades. I'm assuming the spreadsheet correct so SAS only has .10 K in cap atm. So is this drop valid?

It actually creates cap room, because of losing Gooden's salary.

I should've clarified that the cap relief ($6.69 - $5.02 = $1.67) is a short term help. The real hit comes over the next 2 years when I'm paying a player who's not helping at all.
I think Gooden will play somewhere, but never again justify that contract. Just my opinion.
