Denver trade: Kyle Lowry 6.21M (13/14) Spencer Hawes 6.50M (13/14) Vince Carter 3.18M (13/14) Xavier Henry 0.50M (13/14), 0.55M (14/15), 0.61M (15/16) 2.50M cap room for 13/14
Houston trade: Reggie Jackson 1.26M (13/14), 2.20M (14/15), 3.22M (15/16, QO) Alec Burks 2.20M (13/14), 3.03M (14/15), 4.18M (15/16, QO) Perry Jones III 1.10M (13/14), 1.27M (14/15), 1.45M (15/16), 1.82M (16/17, QO) Markieff Morris 2.09M (13/14), 2.99M (14/15), 4.13M (15/16, QO)
I accept, obvious, I lose a lot of production this year, but I do this mainly for the future, and also add depth at my PG position. For Hawes, I don't think he will keep it up, while having Markieff Morris (he's unstable, but he's PF/C) give me someone to replace him not only for this year, but long term wise.
With this trade, I will have 12 players under contract next year and the only one that is not will be Cousins, and I will have more than enough money to resign him, but who knows, I may trade him as well if I get an offer I cannot resist.
Good dealing Houston.

now obviously im pretty broken up about losing Burks and Jackson. I also value PJII quite a bit but I am looking to win now. My team lacks significantly in Ast. and Def. categories and this addresses them both. I upgrade at C and PG and even SG when Henry gets back. next year will be a challenge to fill these positions from free agency but I am going for the title this year and its very apparent here. Accept.

Actually I don't think Joe become weaker by much and he trade 1 year players to multiple years, young players. I will take Joe side anytime and might had done the same. Pass (2-0)

It's a nice looking trade, but after the previous one, it appears Houston can only accept $0.7m in salary.

I shipped him 5.0M for a 2nd round pick in the last deal. Unless the spreadsheet for Houston is wrong, otherwise, I made the calculation and it should be good.

The spreadsheet shows that Houston has already received $4.30 this year. Adding $5 to that doesn't leave enough room for the salary being sent here.
If there's something I'm overlooking, please let me know. Thanks.

yes, you are right, I overlook that. Sorry about that. I will have to work it out again with Houston.

actually I remember that it's okay to get over the cap via trade, and he has a week to get under the cap without any penalty, so it should be okay, right?

Going over the salary cap isn't the problem. The Charlotte trade shouldn't be affected by this either unless the participants need to withdraw for any reason. Such as if they view the 2 (or 3) trades as dependent upon each other.
The issue is that the maximum amount of salary a team can receive in a given year is $10m. If Houston is already up $9.3m, then he can't accept an additional $2.5m as this trade is currently posted.
Please accept my compliments on this trade. I'm sure this will get straightened out. Thanks.

damn, you are correct again. I'm so so so sorry. I will definitely straight it out with Houston now. So this trade is invalid.

This trade is void.
The problem is not HOU salary cap (if he accepts you can do it without the $ beinf send), but the amount of $ he can receive in a trade.
He has already received $4.70 (in the spreadsheet) + $5.00 in your previous trade already approved.
So, the max amount he can receive is $0.30M
You need to rework this deal because of that.
