Pacers Receive: Marc Gasol C MEM (13: $14.86 14: $15.83) Gerald Green SG/SF PHX (13: $1.17 14: $1.28 15: $1.41) Total : $16.03
Spurs Receive: Amare Stoudemire C/PF NYK (13: $21.68 14: $23.41 TO) Giannis Antetokounmpo SG/SF MIL (13: $1.00 14: $1.10 15: $1.27 16: $1.45 17: $1.82) 5 Million Cap Space Total: $17.68M Cap
Pacers Accept: Really wanted to keep Giannis but This really helps my position in having a shot at the best teams to win it all. Last year I gave up my future to win it all (Lost in championship) so hopefully history does not repeat itself. More moves to come..

Spurs confirm.
If I'm going to be angling more for the future, there's tremendous value in having a high quality player on a very beautiful contract.
Gasol and Green will certainly outproduce Stoudemire and Antetekounmpo. But I'll have as much fun as anybody in the league watching my own team grow. (Literally, it seems)
2 other ways of viewing this, which makes it fair in my opinion, are:
- There are players that could be acquired via trade with Giannis that are out of reach with Gasol and Green. I can't picture using him as trade bait, but at least I feel confident that he'll retain his value.
- The $15m this saves in salary has a decent chance of being used for another high quality player next year. Giannis plus "free agent x" are almost undoubtedly my preference over Gasol and Green.
It's definitely a play for the future. Sorry for providing someone with an easier first round of the playoffs.
Thanks Domingo.

Eer... Sorry man... I cannot see how I can pass this. I'm not a believer in Antetokounmpo and Amare contract is crazy. Gasol is by far is the best player in the deal and I don't think Spurs getting the return that required. Hell, I think he taking more burden. So veto for me (0-1)

sorry guys. I would approve this deal if Gasol is in his last year, but he's an all star with a reasonable contract for another year. Also Gerald Green is having a pretty good year too. This is close, but at the end of the day, I can't convience myself to approve this trade. Veto: (0-2)

Easy veto (0-3)
There is no way that Gasol+Green only net Amare's bloated contract and Giannis "tremendous upside potential". It could be justifiable if there was a 1st round involved as well, but this is simply not enough...
