Hi everyone,
i would like to start a discussion about this topic because imo the rules have to be changed.
1. I don't mind that a team tanks to be in a better position do draft the next year, it's a perfectly valid strategy. 2. I do mind however, when a team puts in it's lineup INJURED players. 3. I have never seen a basketball game featuring a team with 2 active players as ORL is presently doing (i don't know if it's the only one).
If you want to tank, you can:
1. make daily lineups with your weakest players 2. trade productive players for draft picks, leading to 1.

No, according to LMs, we have to try to win games every week no matter what, it really doesn't matter if you are in the haunt for the playoff or moving towards the lottery. Because if teams tanking, it's not only affecting the lottery teams, also affecting the playoff teams and it wouldn't be fair. Correct me if I'm wrong. I think Tiago and Ze need to address this as I informed them a few times already, and yes, ORL is one of the teams that is not doing his job, and yes, he's not the only team doing it now.

The big problem we have is that we still have at least two teams with close to 0 activity.
And that's why we haven't been addressing the tanking problem.
But Joe is right, you have to try to win every week, and theoretically there are penaltys for those who don't.

But tanking can look like trading decent players for the future like suns were saying. There should be no problem with that, but without a doubt the best players should be in the lineup week in and week out. Some players are questionable I know, but playing injured players over active players is downright wrong.

Memphis is the guy who got me in here, I am in other leagues with him, worst comes to worst Ill tell him to make sure its set and to check in if that is really a problem. The other 3 I cant argue with, people have told Jay multiple times on chat alone.

Have you seen my team? Anyone who can play is in the lineup, I just don't have much to put out there to begin with.

Is that why you have Javale McGee on your lineup, whose last game was on november 8th? What about Shelvin Mack?

You still have to put players in, crap players still gives you better chance to win than no players. It's everyone's responsibility to do that here, you agree to it when you sign up for this league.

And his production last I checked wouldn't have made a difference but if it bugs everyone so much I fixed my lineup

I'll keep this short and sweet, but basically, the guys on my bench suck. Like, actually. I have Jason Terry (doesnt play much), Isaiah Canaan (never plays), Josh Selby (Free Agent), and Gary Neal (barely plays) all on my bench.
I really dont think I could be improving myself. I am 5-6, not really like I'm tanking...

I said it before and would love to say it again (correct me if I'm wrong, anybody). But even your guys on bench sucks, they still produce in limited playing time, that means they improve your chance of winning, and this is what this league is asking everyone to do, it's not too hard to fix the lineup. For you Max, I understand Isaiah Canaan and Josh Selby at the moment, but Jason Terry and Gary Neal still getting playing some playing time, that means their production should be at least better than zero. And if this is allowed, I think it will makes it a habbit for all those not so good team to not fixing their lineup, and you think this is okay?
