Ok. First blunder of the new season by one the LM's. Early in the portuguese morning, a sleepy José just made an entire post on how GSW didn't bid and was about to send a PM to Steven to see if he wanted to match or not. José also went about Roberto's tricky thinking and everything else.
(One of) the most coveted item on RFA this year got a lot of action but none from his owner. Remember James Harden?

Suns' GM Roberto decided that DeMarcus is no longer a long term liability and had no problems putting his money where is mouth had been before. He managed to surpass Milwaukee's GM Alex offer with some tricky first year numbers thinking.
Remember that RFA is not only about what can the owner offer and what the 20% threshold will be but also the little details in how you make an offer (17.05 for Y1 beats an offer of 17.00, if you know what we mean).
So, PHO has the winning bid with the following contract offer:
20.50$ / 22.55$ / 24.81$ / 27.29$
Warriors' GM Steven now has 24 hours to decide if he wants to match this offer or not.
For the curious out there, the minimum offer Steven could've made in order to keep DMC with his own offer was 17.10$ / 18.81$ / 20.69$ / 22.76$.
John Wall is next, with his deadline at 11:59pm ET of the 12th of August. Keep your offers coming.

The only thing is that DMC doesn't belong to GSW but to SAC, apparently since the 28th of July.
So, DeMarcus Cousins stays at home since nobody beat the 20% threshold above David's offer. Now Roberto looks cheap for not getting that 0.2M in for Y1. That was really some clever thinking behind it.
The new contract is as it follows:
17,24$ / 18,96$ / 20,86$ / 22,94$
