Such a discrepancy in the offers.
Denver apparently don't believe Sanders will return to his 2012-13 form where he was a top 50 player in the back of his blocking numbers.
Last season Sanders made a lot of fantasy owners mad, and some of the offers show that.
On the other hand, Miami outbid everyone by A LOT, offering more than 2X the 20% threshold and almost 3M more per season than anyone else (+5,20 OCV than 2nd best offer).
Pedro must have total faith in Sanders, and this offer proves it.
Denver has now 24 hours to decide whether or not to match this contract:
13,26$ / 14,58$ / 16,04$ / 17,64$
Trevor Booker is next, with his deadline at 11:59pm ET of the 20th of August. Keep your offers coming.

I believe Pedro got his hands on Sanders psychological evaluation. Is inside information allowed?
Joke aside, I actually believe Sanders will bounce back, but still a hefty price to pay for risk involved.

This is a quick decision. Congrat on Pedro winning the bid, Denver decide not to match. I believe he will bounce back, however, with the risk involve, this contract is just too much. All that being said, if it's someone else won the bid, I would be mad, but perfectly okay with Pedro, good luck and hope Sanders turn out to be as productive as he think he can.

I don´t understand why people are surprised. It's the logical step, after overpaying a C who doesn't block shots...

Really didn't think Sanders and Monroe so underrated, always thought that Sanders was worth more but maybe Hayward, Favors and Bledsoe are worth more than 17M in 1st year salary too, who knows??
Bottom line always thought that I could get Monroe with 13M in 1st year contract but the others bids before made me bid higher 1M so, with Sanders was just a continuation of how off market I was before but hell it all started when I grab the more than 8M QO for Evan Turner right? At least it seems I got some assets to work around and maybe in FA other players will demand more salary and make this bad bidings less bad.
