UFA and RFA Trevor Booker

Due to an unexpected absence from one of the LM this whole week, UFA will start on Sunday Sep 7th at 6PM ET.

We will only allow 20 FA to be "open" for bidding simultaneously. So, the first 20 to be posted will be bid on first, and only when a FA is won by some team another can be bid on.

If more than 20 are posted, we will delete the thread of such players.

Without this "rule" we can't control everything (remember that you can't bid over the cap, nor can you bid on more players than you have free active slots on your roster) and UFA would end too soon giving that NBA season only starts in 2 months.

We know that this will decreases the possibility of signing a FA and trading him before the season, which we also really like as that isn't supposed to happen all that much.

Another quick note:

Since we have allowed for some owners to bid only 1 year on their RFA's after a request from WAS and talks with some of the other owners who all agreed, we will re-bid Trevor Booker.

So, you can send your offers for him until, 11:59 PM ET on 09-02

can we also get some information on the LAC's owner situation? Last time I heard, the current owner is trying to quit and will stay until we get a new owner. I think we really should get this resolve before UFA so that the new owner can have a team that assemble by him rather than someone else.

I'm 99% certain we will have a new owner at UFA start.
