Raptors trade: Nik Stauskas $1.65M; $1.90M; $2.18M; $2.73M 2016 TOR 2nd
Pistons trade: 2016 DET 1st
+/- $1.65M.
Raptors accept. When this deal was made with Pistons, Stauskas was still in Sacramento and I didn't like his situation there. I think he might get more playing time in Philly, but I don't want to back out now. Also, I have to free up some roster space, so I fell comfortable getting a 1st for him.

I accept, when this trade was agreed upon I did it to back up McLemore, this way I'd be assured of whoever is getting the minutes. But with the fact that Sacramento has traded Stauskas to Philly I like his chances in that roster. He'd likely get a shot at minutes, production, & might get a crack at the starting lineup & that's even with him missing Summer League.

Any trade with Sauce Castillo is an amazing trade. The question here is: how high is that pick going to be? I don't think trading a former top 10 pick in his second year for a future 1st is vetoable, no matter how high that pick might be.

Stauskas should play more this year and might be productive, but i also think the pick is more valuable.

If Staukas stayed in SAC, this would be great trade for TOR. Now it's pretty even since his production in PHI and DET 1st are both question marks.
