Denver trade: David Lee: 15.49M (15/16)
CHA trade: 2017 CHA 1st
I accept, this is all about clear up more cap space, I believe I maybe able to get 1 or 2 nice free agents with the cap I open up in this trade, and PF/C position is what I have too many. Good dealing Carlos.

Got it. D. Lee is coming of off his worst career stats, but this was because he had no place in the rotation. His going to BOS now and he has a big history of playing big in small teams - he was an AllStar with the NYK and averaged a double double with the Warriors when they were hoping for good lottery picks - he was also an AllStar with the GSW in this phase. I believe he'll be a big part of this BOS rebuilding phase. Also, I need players. Thanks!

Risky deal for CHA, as he trades his first in 2017 for just one year of D Lee. If he can't build a good team this season, that pick would be nice to have next year, to give him more options.
But the need for players, and the possibility that DLee returns to his old form when he was an auto double-double is good enoug for me to easily approve this.

I'm sorry but this is a very bad trade for CHA, imo. 15M for David Lee, with all of the FA we have this year... CHA will have around 40M+ invested in 3 players with 8 spots to fill, good luck with that. Because Lee has a 1 year contract,

I don't think that this trade is much different from a lot that we see during the season, apart from 2 reasons:
- We're not during the season - Determining Lee's value is like taking a gamble on Russian Roulette
Strategy wise, this deal would make more sense during the season and after getting a chance to really see Lee's participation with the Celtics.
Value wise, no problem with it.
