Spurs trade Robert Covington and 2016 WAS 2nd rounder
Nuggets trade Kelly Oubre Jr, 2017 GSW 1st rounder and 0.5M in cap space.
Spurs accept. Kelly and the GSW pick will have longer and better controlled contracts that will help me more in my rebuild than Covington, although it sucks to lose him in such a nice contract, but I'm not contending this year and probably not next year either, and eventually Saric will come to the NBA, Stauskas will develop and I see his role regressing.

I accept, like I said before, Kelly never really in my plan, and just a trade assets for me. And after trading away Nene, I need another PF to fill the void. Covington should be an upgrade. Thanks Pedro for the deal.

Kinda like Oubre and his ceiling, so he and a late 1st for Covington seems a nice deal for SAS.
disclaimer: I hate Covington and feel that he, just like 90% of Sixers roster, belongs in the D-League, but until he leaves PHI for a real NBA team he has a lot of fantasy value, so this seems fair enough.

Don't know if Convington is a D-League player but right now he is a very cheap player that can help in many stats. So, for me, this is a classic trade potential vs production and maybe the late 1st was a bit to much because things in Phily can change quickly, specially if Joe is considering Convingtonfor next year, nevertheless no reason to veto.
