Houston Rockets Send:
Eric Bledsoe $19.32 $21.25 $23.38 Draymond Green $1.45 $1.82 5m in cash
Denver Nuggets Send
Dante Exum $3.30 $3.80 $4.36 $5.46 Joel Embiid $3.30 $3.80 $4.36 $5.46 Cory Joseph $0.91 $1.00 Luis Scola $1.10 $1.21 2016 POR 1st 2017 CHA 1st
2016 TOR 1st 2017 HOU 1st
ACCEPT: I just have to face reality and understand that with the way this team is built, i wont be able to win this or next year. So i will start from scratch. this deal helps me do so.
Bledsoe and Green are top guys but...
Bledsoe is 20M for 4 years. Thats two 3rds of my cap in one guy that tends to get injured. I already have another 20M in Gordon which means i am fucked in futre free agency. Add the fact that Green will probably go for the same amount in FA. hat means that ill have to pay at minimum 50M for 3 players and still no chance of winning.
Im basibally getting 6 first two of them top 5. Im fizing the Cap situation and my team finally has some direcction.
This was a long process but thanks Denver for not ripping my head off and feed it to the wolves.
GOOD LUCK GETTING THAT TITLE!

Accept. I decided instead of waiting to get the title next year. I maybe better equip to win it this year. It's a lot to give up, but those 2 are premium players and ones definitely can help to put my team to where I want. Thanks Teo for the deal.

At first glance of this deal I was like "hello no , no way Im passing this" but then I saw his explanation of 2 top 5 picks, there is no ways hes talking about the 2 busts so far in embiid and exum so i looked up the standings to check of either TOR or POR are 0-5, or 1-4. Nope nevermind. This is an awful trade, Lets start with this. Next year, Joseph expiring, Scola expiring, 2 more years of a PG who had a putrid and I mean awful fantasy rookie season coming off a torn ACL, yikes, 2 years of Embiid coming off back to back season ending injuries with a backcourt of Okafor, Noel, saric, grant, yikes again. 4 firsts are nice but tell me is this worth 2 top 25 players??? Are any of the players rockets getting close to top 25 yet top 50 value?? No. If u dont want to resign Green Teo you dont got to trade him for this awful deal when the season is only 1/4 of the way done hell thats why we even have sign and trade rules here. Dont even try to say bledsoe is injury prone when the 2 main pieces Embiid and Exum have missed 3 seasons combined in 2 years. Bledsoe is a STUD, he stuffs the stat sheet very well for a PG and is a future star. Joe is giving a lot of pieces? Yes. Doesnt mean this isnt an awful deal value wise for houston.

I've thought about this for awhile now, and I cannot pass it. It is two players at the top of their games for two highly ranked, highly rated prospects who both A) are out for the year and B) have not shown a lick of their potential. If Exum and Embiid were on the floor this season, my vote would probably be different.
My advice would be to trade the players in two separate deals so as to obtain maximum value for each. That's about all I have to say

There's always a first for everything, because usually i'm the first to veto...
This is a good deal for both teams imo, even if there's some risk on HOU side. HOU is going nowhere with that roster after spending 40M for 2 players without enough good players in cheap contracts, and had no chance of resigning Green. DEN finally saw that has a great chance of winning it all.
Both Bledsoe and green are great, but HOU gets a good package as well.
Exum's rehab is going well by all reports and should make a full recovery. Don't forget that the year before the draft Exum almost didn't play, except for the national team, came into the league and still took Trey Burke's place as a starter. His stats weren't good, but go ahead and check Kobe's rookie year. Scola still has value at 35 and Joseph has a great contract and gives you 50% FG% with low TO's which is great for a PG. Are they stars? Nope. Are they worthless? Hell no.
As for the picks, i like the 2017 ones, especially because HOU gets back his own, TOR 2016 will be in the 20's but POR 2016 might be a lottery pick.
Embiid is still a good gamble, especially because HOU didn't suffer through the 1st 1/2 years since the draft. If he recovers before next season this could be a great steal, and if not and he's the next Greg Oden, next year is a TO.
Is this the best deal that HOU could make for Bledsoe and Green? Probably not. But considering the value and financial flexibility that HOU gets, i don't think that this trade is vetoable.
Approve (1-2)
PS: I'm pretty sure that i will regret this vote if the trade passes and i lose to DEN in the playoffs... If that happens, i will claim that i was cohersed by Joe to approve this. Joe will have to forfeit the matchup. Just saying.

This is a tough one.
Because even if there's lots of pieces going to HOU, none has huge value.
Joseph and Scola are trash for a rebuilding team. 2017 picks are just a question mark at this point, even CHA with all that cap could be a PO team next season. As for 2016 picks, TOR is leading the Atlantic and POR is 2-4 but has a decent roster, so I count them as non-lottery picks.
And then, you have a guy who hasn't played a game in the NBA in his first 2 years, and one of the biggest busts by all numeric and fantasy accounts in recent memories.
On the other direction, two stars.
All in all, I hate this trade for HOU, as I feel it's a terrible one where the number of assets disguise the fact that none is any good.
But what if I'm wrong? Since he can't resign Green HOU needs to trade him with discount.
What if Embiid can play again? What if Exum turns out to be any good. What if POR pick is a lottery one? What if holding his own pick next season gives HOU some more options?
The fact is, we are talking about 2 top 4 picks last year, and 4 1st rounds (hell, maybe they can trade scola and joseph for another pick).
If 2/3/4 of these assets pan out, maybe Teo comes out of this trade fine.
I still simply hate it and believe it's terrible for HOU, but since there's a lot going on, I can't veto it even feeling the way I feel about it.
Approve 2-2

I'll pick his up with both Roberto's and Tiago's explanations, since there's no point in repeating the same stuff.
While Roberto says that this deal will give Houston cap flexibility, the truth is that Exum and Embiid are big question marks. But the picks are also big question marks as no one knows how high will they be and, even if they're high enough, if they will net a player who may be as good as Bledsoe and Green are right now. Remember, we're not talking about 30 year old veteran players but very good 25 year olds. There's a chance that none of those picks amounts to anything close to 30 year old Green and Bledsoe. Think about it, we're talking about a 5 year period where all those picks plus Exum and Embiid (if he's still playing) might not produce the same stats as Green and Bledsoe.
I reckon that there's a chance that Exum turns into a lesser version of young Kobe and that Embiid becomes an elite center. There's also a possibility that those picks turn into two perennial all stars. But how high are those chances? That's the assessment one needs to make. Is it 50%? Is it 25%? 10%? How high must those odds be for this trade to be approved?
And when comparing rookie Exum to rookie Kobe, there's a big difference: Kobe G 71 GS 6 MPG 15.5 FG% .417 TPM 0.7 FT% .819 REB 1.9 AST 1.3 BLK 0.3 STL 0.7 TO 1.6 PTS 7.6 Exum G 82 GS 41 MPG 22.2 FG% .349 TPM 1.0 FT% .625 REB 1.6 AST 2.4 BLK 0.2 STL 0.5 TO 1.4 PTS 4.8
And Kobe was drafted to a contender in a roster filled with veteran players and a dominant Shaq. Plus, his minutes came at the expense of a very good Eddie Jones. Eddie Jones' Trey Burke is not... Harder to get the ball in your hands than in a lottery bound Utah team. Plus, you get to actually see both playing, so there's that as well which is important when analysing a player's potential.
On to Tiago's argument. He says that "Since he can't resign Green HOU needs to trade him with discount". So, my rebuttal is this: while I understand that Green "needs" to be traded with a discount, why does he have to trade Bledsoe with a discount as well? I really can't understand that. Yes, you can trade them both if you want but this deal is as bad as it gets.
I cannot allow this to go through.
