Miami send: Damian Lillard - 7,27M RFA Malachi Richardson - 26th pick #56 2nd BOS 2017
Brooklin trade: George Hill - 8M (2016-17) Tyler Johnson - 0,55 (2016-17); 0,61 (2017-18); 0,67 (2018-19); 1st BKN 2017
I agree! I don't have money to resign Lillard, Hill and Johnson will give my team more depth and the 1st round makes up for losing Richardson and the picks I send to the Nets. The 1M and so I lose in cap are absorved by getting 2 players for one.

The Nets accept. I have more than enough cap to sign Lillard and round out my team. He's an immediate franchise building block which I badly needed. Losing the 1st round pick hurts but I couldn't pass up the chance to have the rights to Lillard and I could always get lucky in the 2nd round. Also I have high hopes for Richardson on anew NBA team hurting for guards. Pleasure dealing with the Heat.

- RFA will open in the 1st of August, with the players distributed accordingly during the month, based on basketballmonsters.com rankings. - RFA players cannot be traded after this day. The rules are clear, this trade is invalid. Thanks Joe

I know about the rule but so many rules were bended in this start of the season... When we actually have time to trade players before we really know the details of this season?
Only now managers were active because everything started late, we have draft at some time as RFA, that never happened also... Until this past week was almost impossible to talk with other managers and I don't know how this trade affects the rest, does it really? Does this trade affect anybody else's strategy?

I don't know what you mean with bended rules, beside dates that had to be postponed because we had under 20 GMs and trying do do our draft as quick as possible so that we could start the season on time. And even though i thought it was clear to everybody that we had to draft as fast as possible... Miami failed to pick in the 12 hour limit. With the 26th pick in the 2016 NDL Draft, the Miami Heat select Malachi Richardson from Syracuse. Jazz on the clock. We've had 8 trades so far this season, done by 10 different GMs. Maybe you should have tried talking with one of those.

I failed to pick because I didn't have any player I wanted to pick... Simple... I tried to trade the pick!! There's no lack of activity for sure!!!
