Orlando trade: Jahlil Okafor 17/18 5,06M (TO) 18/19 5,82M (TO) 19/20 7,27M (QO)
Denver trade: Robert Covington 17/18 0,67M
Denver accept, I hate losing Covington as he is extremely productive with this contract. However, he's in his last year, and even though Okafor in a doghouse right now, but if he gets trade, he may have a big upside. Thanks Orlando for a fast trade.

I accept. It's simple for me, I have to lose cap and Okafor made sense to trade for a solid player in return. I know he's on his last year but I have to get under $70M and this helps do that.

With Embiid and Holmes, Okafor's value is low, but that can change if he's traded or Embiid gets injured.
It's a very good gamble for DEN, but leaves almost no cap for his RFA's and for ORL, avoiding the luxury tax and 1 year of covington at 0.67M is worth it, imo.

Exactly what Roberto said.
Hard to believe this is Okafor value at this point..

I agree with the above. If Embiid is healthy, Okafor might be traded and his value will rise... Good trade for both.
