DEN trade: 2018 BKN 1st 2018 Chicago 2nd
for
SAS trade: Taurean Prince $1,65M (17/18) $1,90M (18/19, TO) $2,18M (19/20, TO) $2,73M (20/21, QO) DeAndre Bembry $1,65M (17/18) $1,90M (18/19, TO) $2,18M (19/20, TO) $2,73M (20/21, QO)
I accept, I do like Prince and Bembry and as a rebuilding team, I certainly love to add more rookie contract that has potential to grow.

Spurs accept this trade. We had a glut of young wings and these two were going to struggle to push for playing time. We now have 7 1st rd picks in the next 2 drafts and a very good chance to build a young core to build the roster around.

Not sure about this one. I understand what SAS is trying to do but I feel this time they overthinked the situation. Having some rookie contracts is about the same as picks, with an extra year under their belt.
The only way this is close to a good deal for them is if they for some reason think Prince is not going to develop to what most people think.
I do like Prince and think this is a fantastic trade for DEN, and one SAS will regret.
But it's not unfair or unbalanced by any means.

I also don't like the trade for the Spurs, but it helps to even the 1st one.

I think Prince will be a good defender but I think he will be a below average presence at the other end of the floor and don't see him as a long term answer at SF for the Hawks which made this a pretty easy decision for me. Of course I could easily be wrong in which case Denver have possibly got a bargain.

I built my empire by stocking up on draft picks and getting lucky with how bad the teams were and how the lottery shook out. While risky and far from fool-proof, if you're going all in on a rebuild, adding a lot of draft picks is the way to do it. I like this deal for both sides.
