Spurs Send:
Chalmers $8,53 $9,38 $10,32
Bulls Send: Josh Smith $15,64 $17,21 Moe Harkless $1,45 $1,82 Bulls 2016 1st round pick.
SAS accept this deal. I have the cap space to receive Josh Smith and his contract, and with my current roster I really need picks and young players that can help me in the future.

Accept:
I was knocking to most of the doors and when i said Josh Smith people was treating me like i was Jehowa Witness or something. I found one believer and i am very happy.
Chalmers is giving me decent PG backup for Rose, while his contract sucks for his production i am still happy. I saved here about 9M and while i have 10M cap space it gives me enough to match any Jimmy's Butler contract from RFA.
Loosing Harkless sucks but himself sucks too, maybe he will reborn in Portland but then he is RFA next year anyway. My pick could be decent but that's the price i need to pay to trade Smith and the fact that he sign for Clippers don't help as well.
Thanks for deal Spurs and good luck.

Smith had to be dealt like this, but i think he might play more than people think. Besides Griffin and Jordan LAC has nothing else in the frontcourt. Chalmers might be dealt, and if he lands in a better situation this trade could be very good for the Bulls. The pick's value will depend on the health of Rose and the resigning of butler. Who knows? it's tough to value assets in July...

Like it a lot for SAS. Since they can take some cap, this a clear win for them.
But knowing the hard time CHI had trading JMoove, I understand his side too, even if I don't like it.
If they can retain Butler, I think it's worth it. If somehow they miss it, it's a hard blow for the franchise after making this trade to assure it.

CHI clears cap space to re-sign one of their most valuable assets.
SAS takes the salary dump (short-term), get rid of a long term dubious contract and gets a 1st round that is projecting to be out of the lottery.
Fair deal in my opinion.
