Raptors trade: Otto Porter Jr. $3.80M, $4.36M, $5.46M. Alexis Ajinca $1.04M, $1.15M.
Nuggets trade: DeMar DeRozan $11.53M, $12.69M. 3M Cash
+/- $3.69M
Raptors accept. I needed a SG badly and DeRozan can fill that spot. Although I like Porter and I think he'll have more playing time now that Paul Pierce is gone, I have 4 other SFs. As for Ajinca, I don't dislike him, but since Asik will stick around, he won't have that many opportunities. Good dealing, Joe.

I agree. I really like Otto Porter Jr., specially now that Paul Pierce is gone. I will gain 7M for next year. As for Alexis Ajinca, I don't think he got a contract of 20M for 4 years to sit on the bench. His contract is low enough that I view it as a low risk, high reward contact. good dealing again, Sergiu.

One information need to correct here, the salary difference is only 3.69M with my 3M cash.

This deal is apparently good for both teams. The Raptors are trying to be a contender this year and another 20ppg player to pair with Cousins is a step in the right direction. The Nuggets stick to the plan and add Porter, a decent young player which will start this year, but his fantasy game won't be in DeRozan's level. Ajinca might have some value, but only if Ryan Anderson keeps getting injured.

The only thing I don't agree with Roberto about is Porter: I think his fantasy game can get to the level of DeRozan's very quickly. If that is the case, it's a steal here for Denver.

I really don't know how good can Porter be without Pierce to take his minutes. This must make it a fair trade.
