Orlando Magic trades:
Brandon Ingram $4,00 $4,40 $5,06(TO) $5,82(TO) $7,27(QO)
Ed Davis $3,05 $3,35
LA Lakers trade:
Paul George $19,12 $21,03
$5M cash considerations
Orlando accepts. I really liked the idea if having Ingram on my team and waiting to see if he develops into something special, however I think Paul George has more upside and he fits right in on this Magic squad to help make us immediate contenders in the Eastern Conference. The $5 cash helps soften the cap differential so I'm only taking on just over $7M. I still have enough to land another player in free agency. Good dealing with you Lakers.

I accept. I was stuck in fantasy purgatory because I kept too many bad contracts that didn't pan out. This year I had two targets and missed the first one, leading to a gross overpay on the second. I need to rebuild on the fly and George's contract doesn't fit that timeframe. If Ingram becomes 80% of what Durant is, then this is a good trade. If not, then I'm still stuck. Time will tell... I'm rolling the dice sooner rather than later.
Nice dealing.

Risky deal for LAL, but Renato explanation makes sense and Ingram ceiling is sky-high.

High risk-high reward for the Lakers, trading a sure thing for a cheaper gamble.
If all the hype comes through, it may be a very good move for the Lakers.
For the Magic, they're getting Paul George.
