Denver trade: Jahlil Okafor $5,06M (17/18) $5,82M (18/19, TO) $7,27M (19/20, QO) TJ Warren $2,18M (17/18) $2,73M (18/19, QO) Marcus Smart $2,91M (17/18) $3,64M (18/19, QO) 2017 #18 overall pick (PHI) 2017 #27 overall pick (MEM) 2018 PHI 1st
for
Devin Booker $1,90M (17/18, TO) $2,18M (18/19, TO) $2,73M (19/20, QO) 2018 DEN 1st
I accept, this trade is all about getting Devin Booker, which has the best future of the 4 players involve and also has 2 more guarantee years left on his contract. 3 picks involve shouldn't be too high, and I get to control my own 1st next year which gives me flexibility of what I want to do this year.

Wow... That's a king's ransom for Booker. In fact if the 2018 DEN wasn't involved I would've veto it. But owning one's first round is sooooooo valuable that sometimes we have to give way too much.
So I see this as the picks for the pick which I would approve eve if it's a 3x1 because they shouldn't be all that good and DEN gets their own back like I've said.. And Okafor, Warren and Smart for Booker that I will also approve, because of Warren and Smart contracts and Okafor situation.
Great trade guys.

I think it's too much for Booker, but not enough to veto.

I personally think it's not very much for Booker. He is the only player in the trade with the chance to become a legitimate fantasy stud. While I do think the NBA has soured on Okafor too quickly, it also doesn't look like he will be traded soon and every day he is still on the 76ers is lost development time where he could be getting better. Warren is alright, again nothing special. Smart is good for fantasy and without Bradley will see more important and effective time this season, but he is far from a needle mover. The picks are okay, but because it's the DEN 2018 1st being sent back I'd argue it's more valuable than those two 1st rounders from 2017 being sent. Certainly not a veto by any stretch, but I think the Nuggets get the better end here.
