Spurs trade:
POR 2015 2nd (#38) 50k in cap
Jazz trade:
BRK 2015 2nd (#37)
Spurs accept.
Interested in a player in that range, and I'm making this trade to assure I get him, 50k for a one spot trade up in the second round doesn't seem much to me, and I still have some cap space to use.

Jazz accept. Didn't see anyone I liked at 37, so I'd rather move down a spot and gain a little cap space.

I think that is what he meant.

No. I meant 50K, not 500k. This isn't a player for cash or pick for cash, because I give a pick (and one just one spot below) as well as cash for that rise of one spot.

This kind of deal is overlooked in the Rules and we couldn't find any precedent that would help resolve this issue.
With this specific trade, we'll allow the trade to go into voting and address this in the next revision of the Rules.

UTA collects 0.05M to move a spot down. Nothing wrong with that.
