Denver trade: McCollum: 17-18 (3.64M, QO) 2017 Washington 1st 5M cap space Michael Kidd-Gilchrist: 10.45M (17-18), 11.50M (18-19), 12.65M (19-20)
for
CHA trade: Willy Hernangomez: 1.44M (17-18), 1.50M (18-19), 1.56M (19-20) Pau Gasol: 8.31M (17-18)
I accept, really like Willy Hernangomez, his rookie contract is huge for me as I keep trying to rebuild, more trades will come. Good trade CHA.

I agree with the trade. Pau Gasol for one year was not much use on a rebuilding team. I also really like Willy on a low contract. Against that, I am getting another good draft pick, 5m cap space and MKG. I like MKG's defensive stats a lot, and he looks to be still improving. The salary is on the high side, but not terrible. To soften that, I am getting $5m cap space. The other part is the rights to McCollum, who I should have the cap space to retain.

I don't think MKG's contract is that negative, he doesn't score much but his stats are solid, and he's 23. I also seem to value RFA's more than most, that's why i think CHA wins this trade. DEN couldn't keep both McCollum and KCP, but chose the wrong one, imo.

Nice trade but I also like it a lot more for CHA. Nice pickups.
As for DEN, Joe returns to his style. Cheap rookie contracts to build their core.

Ps: didn't we change the rules for trading players with impending QO?
